Checkpoint Sweater is a light and feminine sweater with a beautiful staggered rib knit pattern. The fit is slightly oversized and has balloon arms and a rib knit neckline. The sleeves and body has the same rib knit finish as the neckline of the sweater. The sweater is knit from the top down and is therefore knitted as one piece. I have chosen to raise the neck for a better fit using German short rows. The checkpoint sweater is a classic raglan sweater with increases on every 2nd round around the markers on each shoulder. When you have completed all the increases, the sleeve stitches are placed on hold while you knit the body before you proceed by placing the sleeve stitches back on your circular needle and complete them separately. I prefer using Italian bind off to finish the sweater, because I like the elastic and beautiful finish it provides. You can always choose a regular bind off if you prefer that.

Corresponds to chest measurements of: 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm

Chest measurements: approx. 98 (102) 105 (111) 117 (120) 126 cm or - included positive ease approx. 5-10 cm

Recommended knitting needles: Circular needle 4,5 mm and 7 mm

Tension: 13 sts & 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm using st sts on a 7 mm needle, with the 2 strands held together
