The Pearlypop Cardigan is a cropped model with a stockinette body and seed stitch sleeves. The ribbed edging is knitted in a 2x2 ribbing for a sportier look. It is knitted top-down with classic raglan increases. The yoke and body of the cardigan is knitted back and forth whilst you knit both ribbed edgings in the front in extension of the work. Before that the neck is raised by knitting Short Rows. When all the increases are done the stiches for the sleeves are placed to rest, whilst the rest of the body is knitted. When the body is done the sleeve stiches are placed back on your circular needle and finished separately. If you wish to be able to close your cardigan, you can sew in pushbuttons in the end or sew buttonholes in the finished ribbed edging with the help of buttonhole-stitching.
