Flashdance Sweater - Kids (english)

Flashdance sweater is a unisex model. It is slightly oversized, with loose stitches and edges in double rib. This results in a more sporty look. I have chosen to raise the back part of the neckline for a better fit using German short rows. While knitting the German short rows, increases are made on the right and wrong side. The sweater is knit top-down using raglan-increases. When all increases have been knit the sleeve stitches are placed on stitch holders while the rest of the body is knit. The sleeves are knit in the round using stockinette stitch and can be knit with or without stripes.

10 stitches & 15 rows = 10 x 10 cm
in stockinette stitch on needle size 8mm
