Flashdance Sweater - Adult (english)

The Flashdance Sweater is an oversized, airy knit with chunky rib edges for a sporty look. The neckline is raised using short rows to improve the fit. I use the German short row method while increasing on both the right and wrong sides. It is knit from the top down and requires no seaming. When all increases have been worked the sleeve stitches are put on hold while the rest of the body is knit. The sleeves are then put back on the needles and knit one after the other.

Corresponds to chest measurements of:
80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm

Chest measurements:
approx. 102 (106) 111 (115) 124 (128) 133 cm or - positive ease approx. 15-20 cm

Recommended needles:
Size 6 mm and 8 mm

Gauge:
9 sts and 15 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette on 8 mm

78 % kid mohair, 13 % merino og 9 % nylon // 200 m = 100 g

If you want a sweater with 3 stripes you need 1 skein of each of the first two colors and 2 skeins of the third/bottom color for sizes L-3XL. Or you can use the first color again on the bottom for a sweater with 4 stripes.
