Is a loose and cropped model with 2 lavish ruffles that wrap all the way around the body. The pattern is knitted from the top down, which allows you to adjust the length of both the body and the sleeves as you go. The ruffles are knit at the very end, but while knitting the body, you are going to knit purl knit edges where you will later gather stitches to place your ruffles. You can choose the amount of ruffles you want or leave them out altogether. The ruffles are a great opportunity to play with colours or yarns to create a unique expression. You will be using Italian cast on and bind off in this pattern and this is something I have chosen because of its beautiful and elastic finish. I have chosen to increase the height of the neck for a better fit by using German short rows (turn). While doing this, you are going to simultaneously knit increases on both the right side and the wrong side. When you have knitted all the increases, the sleeve stitches are placed on hold while you knit the body. When the body is done, your proceed by placing the sleeve stitches back on your circular needle and knit each sleeve separately.
