All about the Dress - Adult (english)

All about the dress is a soft and light dress with a big nice bold skirt. Its knitted in only one strand chunky mohair on big needles. So its both easy and fast to knit. I have chosen to increase the height of the neck for a better fit by using German short rows (turn), where you are knitting increases on both the right and the wrong side at the same time. This pattern is knit from the top down using raglan increases, which means that there is no joining of parts at the end. When you have knitted all the increases, the sleeve stitches are placed on hold while you knit the body. The upper body is ending right under the bust. And after you are able to collect the stitches for the skirt. The skirt is knittind in the round, with details like elongated stitches as you go along. The length is knitted as long as you want. In the end the sleeve stitches are put back on your circular needle and knitted separately.

Bust measurement:
ca. 104 (107) 113 (118) 126 (131) 140 cm - incl. positive ease approx. 20-35 cm

Recommended knitting needles:
Circular needle size 8 and 10 mm

Tension:
9 sts & 11 rows = 10 x 10 cm using stocking stitches on a 10 mm needle
